Bel’Veth’s true potential has been unveiled by Riot Games as they revealed the newest champion’s complete kit in League of Legends, including her transformative Ultimate ability that unleashes her monstrous form.
Bel’Veth’s kit primarily revolves around attack speed, with her attacks scaling infinitely. After each takedown of an enemy champion or large neutral monster, she gains additional attack speed with no limit. As her attack speed increases, most of her abilities also enjoy shorter cooldowns, while she inflicts additional true damage against a single enemy champion with successive attacks.
However, the highlight of Bel’Veth’s arsenal is undeniably her Ultimate ability. This allows her to metamorphose into her true form, a colossal Void creature, discarding her human guise. To trigger this transformation, Bel’Veth requires a piece of Void Coral, obtainable from slaying enemy champions or large neutral objectives. Her true form bestows various enhancements, including heightened health, movement speed, and attack speed.
Bel’Veth is slated for release on League of Legends’ Public Beta Environment in the next few days, followed by her introduction into the live game two weeks later. Here’s a detailed breakdown of all her abilities:
**PASSIVE — DEATH IN LAVENDER**
After casting an ability, Bel’Veth’s next 2 attacks gain increased attack speed. Additionally, each takedown of a large monster or champion grants her permanent bonus attack speed in the form of Lavender Stacks. Bel’Veth has no attack speed cap and attacks faster than usual. However, her attacks and on-hit effects deal reduced damage, and she does not gain attack speed upon leveling up.
**Q — VOID SURGE**
Bel’Veth dashes in one of four directions, damaging all enemies she passes through and applying on-hit effects. Each direction has its own unique cooldown, which scales with attack speed.
**W — DEATH FROM ABOVE**
Bel’Veth slams her tail down, damaging, knocking up, and slowing enemies struck. Upon hitting an enemy champion, this ability reduces the cooldown of Q — Void Surge’s dash in the direction of the champion hit.
**E — ROYAL MAELSTROM**
Bel’Veth channels a storm of slashes around her, gaining damage reduction and increased life steal. Each slash targets the lowest health enemy within her Maelstrom, dealing greater damage the more health they are missing. The number of slashes scales with her attack speed.
**R — ENDLESS BANQUET**
*Passive:* Every second attack against the same target inflicts additional True Damage, stacking infinitely. Takedowns of Epic Monsters and Champions leave behind a piece of Void Coral. Epic Monsters from the Void, like the Rift Herald and Baron Nashor, drop special, more potent Void Coral.
*Active:* Bel’Veth consumes a piece of Void Coral, triggering an explosion that slows and deals True Damage to nearby enemies based on their missing health. Upon consuming Void Coral, Bel’Veth temporarily transforms into her true form. Consuming Void Coral from Epic monsters of the Void (Rift Herald and Baron Nashor) grants Bel’Veth her true form for an extended duration and causes minions to be reborn as faithful Voidlings upon death in her presence.
*True Form:* In her True Form, Bel’Veth gains increased maximum health, out-of-combat movement speed, attack range, and total attack speed. She also gains the ability to dash through walls with Q — Void Surge while in this form.
