Fixing the Mysterious Machine
When you stumble upon the Mysterious Machine, hop on top and hit the power button. Only one of the three buttons works for now, so activate it to turn on three lasers. One works fine, but the others need fixing.
First, craft a Pebblet Axe (3 Sprigs, 2 Pebblets, 1 Woven Fiber) to chop down the grass blocking the first laser.
For the second laser, craft a spear (2 Sprigs, 3 Plant Fiber, 1 Pebblet) and a torch (2 Sprigs, 1 Sap, 2 Woven Fiber, 3 Dry Grass Chunks). Follow the weak laser to find lawn mites chewing a wire. Eliminate them and follow the wire underground to kill the rest.
Return to the Mysterious Machine, hit the first and second buttons, and enjoy the cutscene. Next up: head to the Oak Tree for your next mission.
